With The White Lotus finale just around the corner, many travellers are seeking inspiration from the big (and small) screens for their next set-jet destinations.
Below, find some of our hotel clients who have graced the screen as the stunning backdrop for your favourite films & TV shows, from Casino Royale to Succession.
The Mark Hotel, New York City
Succession (Season 4, Episode 1, 2023)

In Season 4, Episode 1, titled "The Munsters," Tom Wambsgans is seen at The Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges, engaging in a pivotal phone conversation with his wife, Shiv Roy. The scene progresses through the restaurant, into The Mark Bar, and concludes in the hotel's lobby, showcasing the hotel's lavish ambiance fit for the Roys.

The Brando, French Polynesia
Mutiny on the Bounty (1962)

In 1961, Marlon Brando came to Tetiaroa while filming Mutiny on the Bounty and was immediately enchanted by the island's rare beauty. In fact, Marlon was so captured by the Polynesian way of life, he resolved to find a way to own this piece of paradise and succeeded in purchasing the atoll in 1967. Decades later in 2014, The Brando resort opened its doors with 35 oceanfront villas and has long been a pioneer in sustainability for the luxury travel industry.
The Colony, Palm Beach
Palm Royale (2024)

While The Colony Hotel was not directly featured in the Apple TV+ series, it served as a significant source of inspiration for the show's design elements. The hotel's distinctive color palettes and furniture settings influenced the aesthetic of the fictional Palm Royale's pool area. Notably, The Colony Hotel historically hosted numerous poolside fashion shows, often photographed by Slim Aarons, which the show's creators referenced during production.
Albany, The Bahamas
Casino Royale (2006)

In Daniel Craig's debut as James Bond, Albany Bahamas, the 600-acre oceanside luxury resort community on the island of New Providence, was featured as the residence of the film's villain, Alex Dimitrios. The pink "Albany House" is now home to exclusive fine dining restaurants, intimate lounges and bars overlooking the ocean, including their aptly-named sushi restaurant, Vesper.
Aleenta Resorts & Spas
The White Lotus (Season 3, 2025)

Aleenta Resorts & Spas might not have been the filming location for this season of HBO's hit series, but for those on a quest to deepen mindfulness, Aleenta Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand offers monk-level Vipassana meditation retreats where guests of any level can develop their meditation practice with daily expert-led sessions. Aleenta Chiang Mai is the perfect urban escape for deep reflection and serenity without the drama (something we hope for the characters of The White Lotus on Sunday...)!
